These terms and conditions regulate purchases via “Brda wines online store” (hereinafter referred to as the “online store”) and ensure the quality of our services and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the terms and conditions determine the rights of the user or buyer and define the business relationship between them and the store, which acts as the provider or seller.

All information published on this website is of informative nature only and does not constitute legal advice or any other service. We strive to keep all the data and information published on the website accurate and up to date. However, we are not responsible for any failures in the website’s operation or delays in updating the information.

The general terms and conditions of the website comply with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2), the  guidelines of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and the international codes for e-commerce.

The buyer confirms that they have read and agreed to all the terms and conditions published on the website .


Klet Brda, z.o.o., Dobrovo, registered in the register of companies under number 10005800 of the Nova Gorica Regional Court, is a VAT taxable entity and is registered for online sale.

Availability of products

All products from our online store which are in stock will be shipped/dispatched in reasonable time (no later than within 4 working days, often sooner). In case of a custom-made product or force majeure, the buyer will receive an email informing them about longer delivery time.

All our shipments are insured. In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods, we will replace them or refund you the paid amount.

Orders placed before 12 pm will be delivered after two days or within 4 working days at the latest. Shipping costs are subject to the price list of DHL Slovenia.

If you are not available at the time of delivery, the DHL will deliver the goods at a later date or leave you a note of delivery.

Responsibility for any loss or damage of your goods is borne by the carrier DHL or Klet Brda. The buyer is obliged to report any damage or loss of goods to the carrier or provider.

Our contractual partner for delivery of goods is DHL.

The products from our online store are available to natural persons only.


All our prices are clearly and unambiguously indicated – we clearly state the price of the product (all prices include VAT) and the cost of delivery/shipping. The cost of shipping applies to the European Union territory.

The provider reserves the right to change the prices. The valid price is the price indicated at the day of the order, i.e. the day that the order is completed and placed.

Prices apply for payments made with the stated payment methods and under the stated conditions.

Payment methods

Provided payment methods:

  • Cash on delivery – if the buyer wishes to pay upon delivery, they can only do so with cash. Regardless of the amount to be paid, the buyer needs to personally accept the shipment. When choosing cash on delivery, the buyer meeds to pay the courier the amount stated in the order confirmation.
  • Online credit card payment – the ordered goods can also be paid through a safe credit card transaction with one of the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and Avtiva
  • Paypal

Added to the product price stated on the website is the cost of shipping, which includes packaging, shipping, and delivery.

Placing orders

After choosing the product, you need to select the desired quantity and click “Add to basket”. The price for the order is displayed when the product is placed in the basket.

To remove the product from the basket, click “Basket”, select “0” in the “Quantity” entry field, and then click “Update basket” or simply click on the red cross icon on the left side of the product. To continue shopping (buy other products), click “Back to store”.

Once all the products are in the basket, please fill out the form with required information.

After confirming the order (clicking “Proceed to checkout”), you can no longer change it online.

Processing orders

After placing the order, the buyer will receive an email confirmation informing them that their order was received and is being processed.

Any changes to the order can be made within an hour after placing the order by writing an email

The buyer is held responsible for the data provided while placing the order. The provider is not responsible for any delivery issues that may arise due to an inaccurate delivery address.

After placing the order, the buyer will receive an email containing the purchase contract (invoice). An electronic copy of the contract (invoice) will be stored on the server. The buyer can request a copy of the contract (invoice) by writing an email to: and we will send it to the provided address (email or postal address).

Complaints and disputes

We comply with the applicable legislation on consumer protection and strive to fulfil our customers’ expectations to the best of our abilities.

However, should you have any complaints, please, address them to _. We will try to solve any complaints (and disputes) amicably and by following a confidential complaint processing procedure.

Right to withdraw from the contract

The buyer has the right to, without giving any reason, withdraw from the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods and can do so by submitting their withdrawal request to the provider (at In case of withdrawal from the contract, the only costs borne by the buyer are the costs of returning the goods. The goods must be returned to the provider within 15 days following the request for withdrawal from the contract (purchase).

The goods must be returned undamaged and unchanged in quantity and form, unless the buyer is returning damaged or spoiled goods. Refund for the returned goods will be made as soon as possible and no later than within 30 days after receiving the request for withdrawal from the contract. The money will be refunded to the (personal) bank account provided by the buyer in their request for withdrawal from the contract.

Return of received goods within the withdrawal deadline is considered as withdrawal from the contract.

The goods are to be returned to the provider’s address Klet Brda, z.o.o. Dobrovo, Zadružna cesta 9, 5212 Dobrovo v Brdih, Slovenia.


The provider uses adequate technical and organisational means for protection of transfer and storage of personal data and payments Brda Wines online store is completely safe.

The online store accepts credit card payments (Maestro, MasterCard, Visa in Visa Electron), whereby the safety of credit card authorisations and transactions is ensured by Nestpay, a payment gateway which transfers provided information to the bank. Klet Brda does not store any personal and payment data on its server.

The provider (Klet Brda) has concluded a contract with the provider of online payments for the purposes of implementing online payment services.

All transactions performed in the online store are protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which is controlled by the service provider.

The buyer undertakes that the provided data is accurate and authentic and is responsible for any damage incurred due to inaccurate or false data.

Protection of personal data

The provider undertakes to permanently protect all personal data. Furthermore, the provider agrees to only use the data for the purposes of managing accounts, offers, and other relevant documentation.

Discharge from liability

We strive to ensure that the data published on our websites is up to date and accurate. However, product characteristics, delivery periods, and prices can sometimes change so suddenly that we are unable to update them in time. Should that happen, we shall inform the buyer on the changes and allow them to withdraw from the order or exchange the ordered item.

Despite our efforts to provide accurate photographs of our items, we ask the buyer to consider the nature of all provided photographs as purely illustrative. The photographs do not strictly represent the product’s characteristics.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and in any way, without giving any reason or prior notice.

Newsletter subscription

By subscribing to our newsletter, you allow the provider to use or process your data for the purposes of sending you email messages related to the provider’s operation (promotions, new products, advertisements, news, event, etc.).

The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled at any time with a written request. To cancel the subscription, please respond to the newsletter and insert the word ODJAVA in the subject of your email. You may also cancel the subscription by writing an email to:

It is prohibited to sell alcohol to minors. The buyer must be of age when placing the order. Should that not be the case, the provider will withdraw from the contract immediately.
